and that mission is to help unite all peoples of the world in the positive spirit of joy, laughter and music. To help folks to forget their cares and woes for just a moment and be free enough to be swept away on the wings of music.
To witness as common, everyday wives, sisters, mothers, auntys and girlfriends transform magically, in the midst of a song, into Fertility Goddess'.

The Mystery: Revealed
LeBurn's professional career began in the mid 70's as the 20 yr old lead guitarist for Atlantic Records recording artist Jimmy Castor & the Jimmy Castor Bunch who now bear the distinction of being the 2nd most sampled artist of all time right behind James Brown and just before George Clinton. As a member of the JCB, Leburn spent years sharing bills with world famous artists such as Chaka Khan, Patti La Belle, Lionel Ritchie, Mr Bill Withers, Kool & the Gang, Mother's Finest, Gil Scott Heron, Cameo, LTD, Rose Royce, Tavares, Chic, KC & The Sunshine Band and even the amazing Larry Graham & Graham Central Station.

In the 80s in another incarnation as a founding member of the ground breaking, Venice Beach, California Roots Rock band The Kushite Raiders, LeBurn threw the comb away, expanded his consciencness and crafted kinky Californian Reggae in a Rub-A-Dub style with the power of Soul and the might of Rock. The next few years found him sharing bills with such Reggae greats as The Twinkle Brothers, Yellow Man, Burning Spear, Steel Pulse, Michigan & Smily, Augustus Pablo and even The Wailers (post Bob). For a time, life was "Irie".

Transformation reared its head once more when in 1990 LB discovered Monterey & Santa Cruz, Calif and began making music with Liz Fischer, Bryant Mills and Larry Hamilton, all members of John Lee Hooker's East Coast-West Coast Band. There was a stint of opening shows for the likes of Mr Joe Lewis Walker, The Blasters, Mr Albert Collins, Sista Monica,
Terrence Simeon & the Mallet Playboys, Lucky Peterson and even a night onstage with Mr John Lee Hooker himself.
After that LB evolved and truly became 3rd Degree LeBurn.
The band, featuring singer, songwriter Al James and rising to prominence in the Monterey Bay opening for such acts as Tool, Matchbox 20, Redbone and Bloodlines. A later pairing with Bruce Parker saw them performing in China in early 1995. Later that year LeBurn emigrated to HKG and survived life in Chung King Mansion.

After 2 yrs of blinding performances in Hong Kong (95-97) with Californian singer, songwriter, producer Bruce Parker , LeBurn emigrated to the UK where he continues to thrill audiences and open shows for fine folk such as Debbie Harry & Blondie, Chaka Khan, Marcus Malone, Lightnin Willie,
Giles Hedley & the Aviators and The Hamsters.

Now after having had the pleasure of making music with other luminaries such as Verdine White (EW&F), Jeff Healy, Jimmy Castor, Jonny Greenwood,
Joss Stone, Chaka Khan, Alex DeGrassi, Whey Cooler, Jonathan Joseph,
James Vargas, Myron Dove, Jimmy DeGrasso, Wally Ingram, Kaya Pryor, Jondi Mac, Oli Brown and many more.. LeBurn says "It's my turn".
